CURRENT CONTENT FOCUSPOSITIVITY PROJECT Social Intelligence
ELA In Letterland, students are investigating how oo can come together as a vowel team of "foot twin". They are also learning other vowel teams that make the "boot twin" sound with ew and ue. EL, students are being researchers learning about pollination. MATH Students are beginning to study measurement, specifically length. They will learn the proper use of tools, inches, feet, centimeters, etc. They will learn to estimate before finding exact measurements. SCIENCE: Students are starting a new unit about animal life cycles. This week they are doing some self study and exploration of curiosities for different animal groups including insects, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and fish. UNIT OF INQUIRY: Who We Are Central Idea: Living things have a life cycle and resemble their parents, even while being unique. HOMEWORK: HW is in Monday Folders and due Friday. STUDENT LINKS
